Ayman al-Zawahiri Narrated The Story Of “Egypt” On Video

Ayman al-ZawahiriMEP: Al-Qaeda leader has sharply criticized the Muslim Brotherhood and Its founder and accused them of the failure of revolutions in Egypt.

According to Rai-al-youm, The independent newspaper, Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda leader said in a new video file: what is called Arab Spring in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen failed and God knows what happened in Libya. I will tell the story of Egypt, for it was indicative of Muslim failure.

He added that the story of Egypt did not begin on January 25, 2011 nor did it end with Al Nahda massacre along with Rabea and the Republican Guard but it started with Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. He made big mistakes and these mistakes led to disastrous consequences.

Muslim Brotherhood first pledged allegiance to King Farouk and later they formed a coalition with Gamal Abdel Nasser and then also with Anwar Sadat, the former Egyptian presidents.

And by the time Anwar Sadat was killed, they formed a coalition with Hosni Mubarak but again they staged a coup against him and supported Mohamed ElBaradei.

He accused the Muslim Brotherhood and its founder of hypocrisy and discord and said: Muslim Brotherhood thought that after Mohamed Morsi’s victory, Egypt’s former president, it achieved what it always dreamed of, but he was a secular ruler who was not at all different from Hosni Mubarak.

Al-Zawahiri said: the only difference between Morsi and Mubarak is that the former had a greater adherence to democracy and had granted the right to freedom to everyone including the Extremist movements. Since the overthrow of Mubarak to the time that Morsi was arrested, the Muslim Brotherhood has not adopted serious measures to eliminate corrupt government.
