Ataullah Ludin, Nangarhar Acting Governor Resigns

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Nangarhar acting governor, Ataullah Ludin, has resigned from his position over what he said having less specialist in the province.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Nangarhar acting governor, Ataullah Ludin, has resigned from his position over what he said having less specialist in the province.

Ludin announced his resignation today Saturday on the first day of the New Year in a press conference.

Ludin was appointed as the governor of the Eastern Nangarhar province in 2013 during the presidency of Hamid Karzai.

Ataullah Ludin has sectarian ties with Hizb-i-Islami Afghanistan.

Ludin was the field commander for Hizab-i-Islami Afghanistan in Nangarhar during the Jihad era.
