ANSF Kills 31 Militants across the Country
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 31 Taliban militants killed and several others wounded, Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday.
Defense Ministry issued a statement says that at least three Afghan soldiers have also killed in enemy fire and landmine explosion in past 24 hours. The statement does not specify the exact location of the incidents.
The statement adds that that operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country like Khost, Paktiya, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Takhar, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Jawzjan, Oruzgan and Kandahar.
According to the statement, 18 different types of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also discovered and diffused.
