ANSF Kill 11 Taliban Insurgents in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 11 Taliban insurgents have been killed and 19 others wounded, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Thursday.
A statement issued by the ministry states that the operations were conducted in Paktia, Urozgan, Daikundi, Kandahar and Nooristan provinces in the past 24 hours.
The statement adds that three Afghan soldiers were also killed during the operations.
According to the statement, Afghan security forces have also seized and discovered a number of light and heavy weapons in the operations.
