KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh operations across the country in which 41 Taliban militants were killed and 32 others wounded, said The Ministry of Defense on Monday.

The Ministry of Defense released a statement saying that at least four Afghan soldiers have also killed in insurgent fire and landmine explosions in past 24 hours.

However, the statement does not specify the exact location of the incident.

The operations were conducted in Ghazni, Paktika, Paktia, Jawzjan, Khost, Urozgan, Daikundi, Kandahar, Badakhshan, Kundoz, Balkh, Zabul, Badghis, Farah, capital of Sar-i-Pul and Helmand provinces, adds the statement.

According to the statement, Afghan security forces have also seized a number of weapons and ammunitions as well as arresting six suspects during the operations.
