Another Betrayal Of US, This Time To Kurds In Syria
MEP: Considering sacrifices made by Kurdish forces in order to confront the Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group and to their not little achievements and also despite the fact that these groups were considered to be merely the main reason to confront this terrorist group, recent events show that Turkey by joining to groups, who fight against ISIS, has made Kurdish forces be the target of most attacks.
But other developments have recently occurred about ISIS, it looks like that US is willing to get rid of the Kurdish militias or even betray them; the only troops that are fighting in the war against ISIS.
Whereas US vice president Joe Biden visited Ankara on Sunday and met with senior officials to Erdogan’s government.
The trip aimed to calm the atmosphere and reduce tension in the statements of Turkish officials about the position of Washington’s recent coup attempts. Biden, whose country did not take desirable stance on Turkey during the coup, now condemns it after two months.
On the other hand, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said “we have reached an agreement with the US to withdraw Kurds from West regions of the Euphrates and the city of Manbij and this message is not pleasant at all for Kurds in northern Syria.
Supporting Kurds in Manbij operations against ISIS, US confirms today’s terrorist attacks against ISIS and Kurds and in a way supports Turkish policy against this groups.
The United States, in fact, follows a cunning policy towards other groups and countries in the region.
PS: it seems US has made new promises to Turkey’s officials by sending Joe Biden to turkey to disrupt new collaboration and alliance that have just been formed between Russia, Iran, and Turkey.
