KABUL: (Middle East Press) Angeza Shinwari an ex-journalist and a member of the provincial council of Nangarhar Province who was injured following an explosion in Jalalabad city has passed away.
Zabihullah Zmarai, another member of the provincial council of Nangarhar says that Angeza Shinwari closed her eyes around 12: PM last night in the hospital.
Angeza Shinwari was injured following a magnetic bomb explosion which was attached to her vehicle in Jalalabad city last week.
Because of the seriousness of her wounds, Angeza Shinwari was brought to Sardar Mohammad Dawoud Khan hospital in Kabul.
The explosion took place in front of Bibi Hawa high school in Jalalabad city.
Her driver was killed on the spot while Angeza Shinwari and three other civilians were wounded.
No one has been arrested in this regard.
