ANA Kills 43 Militants in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Army has launched fresh military operations across the country in which 43 militants were killed and 11 others wounded.
General Zahir Azimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said that at least two afghan soldiers were also embraced martyrdom in past 24 hours but he did not specify about the exact location of the incident.
The operations were conducted in Kunduz, Badakhshan, Baghlan, Kandahar, Paktika, Takhar, Balkh, Farah and Kunar, added Azimi.
Afghan security forces have also discovered and defused 10 different types of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) during the operations.
