Ali Abdullah Saleh’s Party Slams The United Nations
MEP: The media personality of “People’s Congress” Party has demanded the United Nations to change their policy towards Yemen.
The media personality of Yemeni “People’s Congress” Party headed by Ali Abdullah Saleh, has urged the United Nations to change their policy towards Yemen. He said “Why doesn’t the UN envoy condemn the killing of children in Yemen by Saudi Arabia?”
An official media source affiliated to the “People’s Congress” of Yemen, has asked the UN envoy for Yemen to condemn the massacre of Yemeni children, women and the elderly by Saudi-led coalition.
Media source said “In the same manner that Ismail Ould Cheikh, the UN envoy to Yemen is condemning the destruction of Saudi frigates on the coast and territorial waters of Yemen, he should also condemn the killing of innocent people in Yemen by Saudi Arabia.”
He said “The dual positions and policies of the United Nations and the Security Council and their negligence towards the killing and destruction of Yemen’s foundation, has given the Arab coalition an opportunity to attack and commit more crimes and other gross abuses of human rights by the use of unauthorized weapons in Yemen.”
According to “Almotamar.net” of Yemen, the media personality of General People’s Congress (GPC) – (Mutamar al-Shabi al-Am) headed by Ali Abdullah Saleh, the country’s former president, has demanded the United Nations to change their policy, defend the international peace and security and take responsibility for the daily crimes against the Yemenis committed by the Arab coalition.
Saudi Arabia has been attacking Yemen since March 2015 and has killed and wounded thousands of Yemenis in these attacks.
