Mohammad Ismail Qasimyar member of the High Council for Peace told Middle East News Agency that the text of the agreement with the Hezb-e-Islamic Party have been completed after two months.
According to him, all 25 confirmed articles have been placed in this agreement, on both sides and will be handed over to the government and Hekmatyar by today.
Although Qasimyar refused to give further information regarding the terms of the agreement, about the condition of the Hezb-e-Islamic Party in case of withdrawal of the party leaders from the UN blacklist, said the process requires a lot of time there.
He added the request of the Hezb-e-Islamic will be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the comments of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and the government so the Ministry to pursue exit way from the blacklist through diplomatic ways; because it is not the responsibility of the High Peace Council.
Member of the High Peace Council about the presence of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in Kabul, said that the exact date of this event is not known yet and they must also be ready and the High Peace Council also agrees with the date announced by the Islamic Party.
Meanwhile, Khairullah Azad, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Middle East News Agency that the issue of the Islamic Party’s leader’s withdrawal list from the UN blacklist, has not come to the Ministry so far.
He said “once the final agreement between the two sides is determined then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is mandated to follow up on the withdrawal from the blacklist.”
However, Azad noted that this process is time consuming and is not possible in a limited time.
