Afghanistan To Host Trilateral Summit For Solving Immigrants Problems in Iran

iran-afghanistan-flagKABUL: (Middle East Press) A trilateral conference is due to be held in capital Kabul to address the problems of Afghan refugees in Iran.

“The meeting is scheduled for next Sunday August 23rd, 2015 in hosting of Kabul” a statement said by the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR).

Representatives from Afghanistan, Iran and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will be presented in this summit.

According to the statement, Sayyed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, Minister of Refugees and Repatriation in a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, Mohammad Reza Bahrami, said that an Iranian delegation travelled to Kabul to attend the summit.

The two nation’s envoys will discuss the problems of Afghan refugees in Iran and the “Return Program” of the refugees, in the conference.

The Afghan authorities will also discuss on the registrations of undocumented Afghan students in Iran, restrictions on employment and the accused Afghan prisoners during the summit.

A large number of Afghan refugees are currently living in Iran and the children of Afghan refugees have recently been registered in schools.
