MEP: Afghanistan national football team to face Tajikistan squad this afternoon while Peter Shagret, their Croatian coach after two years is not taking part with them.
Shagret, four days ago, and for unknown reasons left the Afghanistan national football team and did not accompany the team on a visit to Tajikistan.
According to the decision of the Football Federation of Afghanistan, in the today’s match, against the national team of Tajikistan, Anosh Dastger will lead the team.
Dastger earlier were invited to the national team as a player during the conduction of Mirosalah Issklezej and Peter Shagret. But the basic point and unknown is lack of Shagret cooperation and partnership cut with Afghanistan Football, while he came to Kabul in order to travel to Dushanbe.
According to a statement of Shagret published on his Facebook page, the invitation of Islamuddin Amiri to the national team after two years by the Football Association, is one of the reasons his work has been interrupted.
The country’s national football team achieved good results with the cooperation of Peter Shagret and had managed to reach the third stage of the AFC Asian Cup.
