KABUL: (MEP) – A free internet café center and a library have been opened for Afghan female students in Mazar-e-Sharif.
Funded by the German and American government, the facilities are establishment at a cost of USD 24,000, Wadsam Reported.
The library consists of over 1,500 books that are available at free of cost to Afghan female students.
Director of Education in Balkh celebrated this initiative from the German and American government and called for more assistance in the development of education sector.
The US government had previously established a learning center under the name of Lincoln five years ago that consists of over 1,000 books and a computer and internet center.
