Afghan Soldiers Killed 8 Taliban Rebels In Faryab Operation

Faryab-province-300x156KABUL: (Middle East Press) The security forces have carried out a military operation in Faryab province in which at least eight Taliban insurgents including a commander of them were killed and seven others were injured within 2 days, local officials reported.

Syeed Masood Yaqoobi, a spokesman for provincial police chief of Faryab province said, eight Taliban insurgents including Mullah Halim a commander of them were killed in Qaisar district of the province.

The security forces have also confiscated a number of weapons and ammunitions from the militants during the operations, according to reports.

However, there is no report regarding the casualties of the Afghan soldiers.
