Afghan Shia Ulema Council Called Kabul Attack “Barbaric Act”
MEP: The Shia Ulema Council in Afghanistan has condemned the Kabul explosion in strong terms between protesters and called it an “anti-Islamic and anti-human act”.
The horrible criminal explosion among the marchers of lightening movement that killed and injured more than 200 people has been a brutal action, barbaric act, anti-Islamic and anti-human, a statement by the Council said on Sunday.
In addition to condemning this unlawful and anti-human blast, the Council wished the highest ranks for the martyrs, patience and reward for survivors and for victims of the incident a speedy recovery.
The council also called on the Afghan government to prosecute and punish those responsible for the incident soon, according to the law.
The deadly suicide bombing occurred on saturday when two Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists detonated their explosives when thousands of protesters had gathered to march against the government’s planned routing of the 500kV power line project.
