Afghan Security Forces Kill 6 Insurgents in Military Operations

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan security forces have launched anti-government military operation across the country in which at least six insurgents have been killed over the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) issued a statement on Monday saying at least two other insurgents were also injured and three others arrested during the operations.

The ministry of interior added, two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also discovered and defused by the security forces.

The MoI, however, did not comment on security forces casualties in the operations.
