Afghan Intelligence Foils Suicide Attack Plot
KABUL: (MEP) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) have arrested a suicide bomber while he was trying to plot a deadly suicide bombing in Helmand province on Thursday.
The suspect was identified as Qudratullah who has been arrested during a special operation in Lashkargah city, a statement by NDS said.
The insurgent was looking to detonate a motorcycle packed with explosive materials and later use a suicide vest to carry out deadly attacks.
Meanwhile, the security forces seized dozens of 20-Sakar rockets [ready for launch] from the city.
