Afghan ‘Insider Attack’ Kills 7 Soldiers in Kandahar
KABUL (MEP) – Seven police officers have been killed by another Afghan police soldier in an apparent insider attack in Shah Walikot district of Kandahar province.
The incident occurred last night at a security base in Shah Walikot district, Kandahar police spokesman Zia Durrani told Middle East Press.

The armed Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident, saying the infiltrator was dependent on them.
Insider attacks occur many times and are one of the events that officials have failed to prevent.
Last week, an Afghan soldier killed two US soldiers in an insider attack in Kandahar province.
