Afghan Forces Kill 74 Insurgents In Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 74 insurgents have been killed, 25 wounded and 4 others detained, the Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday.
A statement issued by the Ministry states that the operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Zabul, Kabul, Paktia, Urozgan, Urozgan, Kandahar, Kundoz, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Faryab, Helmand and in Herat provinces.
According to statement, dozens of different types of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were discovered and defused by security forces.
However, the statement did not provide details regarding the casualties of the Afghan Forces.
