A policeman killed in a blast in Jalalabad

As a result of a mine bombing on a Ranger car, a policeman was killed and seven were injured, including one policeman and six civilians.
The explosion took place this morning (April 8) in the third district of Jalalabad on the car of Nangarhar Police Financial Principal; Middle East Press reported.
Ataullah Khogiani, spokesman for Nangarhar’s governor told the Middle East; the incident was caused by a roadside mine blast and the Financial Officer is safe.
He said a policeman was killed and seven were injured, including one policeman and six civilians.
Khogiani stated that the wounded police’s medical condition was serious, but that the injured were in good condition.
So far, no group or individuals claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Nangarhar province and Jalalabad city have witnessed a bomb blast during the past three days that has raised concern for the people and they call on security officials for serious attention in this regard.
Two days ago, as a result of two explosions in the city, three people were killed and more than 10 injured, and last night an explosion near Hajj and Religious Affairs injured three.
