KABUL: (Middle East Press) A doctor who was the head of the Kaihan Valley clinic has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in northern Baghlan province.
Shamsuddin Sarhadi, governor of Doshi District says that the doctor was murdered inside his residence Saturday night.
He said the gunmen fled from the area after carrying out the attack.
No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the killing, however such incidents mostly carry out by Taliban militants.
