Taliban Claims Responsibility For Parwan Bombing That Killed 14

blastKABUL: (MEP) Taliban insurgent group have claimed responsibility behind the suicide bombing in Parwan province of Afghanistan in which at least 14 people were killed on Monday evening.

A suicide bomber detonated his explosives at a market in Syah Gerd district that lies in Ghorband valley killing at least 14 people including members of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces while 19 others sustained injuries that include 17 civilians.

Mohammad Zaman Mamozai, the provincial police said the explosion apparently targeted Local Police. Four of dead were policemen while the rest civilians.

Those injured in the blast were immediately shifted to hospital. 12 of them in critical conditions.
