8 civilian killed in Kabul-Laghman road incident

KABUL: (MEP) – All passengers of up to eight members including the driver died of a critical road-conversion of their vehicle driven on the Mahipar area of Kabul to eastern province of Laghman, an official said Monday.

The Mercedes-type car skidded of the road and fallen into the water when it got out of control on the way between Sarubi district and eastern Laghman province, where eight passengers were killed at the spot, said the governor spokesman.

The dead bodies—all men have been taken to Laghman provincial hospital, where they were handed over to their relatives at the early Monday dawn, the source said.

Governor Fazlullah Mujaddedi called the event a deadly incident and condoled the bereaved families, Wakht reported.
