6 Insurgents Died in Nangarhar Air-Raid

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least six militants were killed after their vehicle targeted by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which is also known as drone strike in eastern Nangarhar province.

Spokesman for the police headquarters of Nangarhar province Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, told reporters that the incident took place Tuesday afternoon killing six insurgents and destroying their artilleries.

Mashriqiwal added the drone targeted a corolla vehicle of the insurgents in Mamond District of Achin District.

The ones killed included Mullah Toor, a Taliban so-called District Governor and his assistant Rahmanullah as well as four other insurgents whose names are Hasti Gul, Qadar Gul, Nasrat and Amrullah, according to Mashriqiwal.

The Ministry of Defense said following a statement that some heavy and light weapons were also confiscated by the security forces from the position of the suspects.
