KABUL: (Middle East Press) Fatal explosion claimed the lives of at least six people and injured nearly 14 others in Kandahar province, according to local officials.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning inside the police building district 8, said National Directorate of Security (NDS) Chief of Kandahar Police Rahmatullah Atrafi.
The injured were shifted to the hospitals and some of them were reported to be in serious condition.
Reports indicate that police officials have apparently found the explosive in the area and took it to their offices where it detonated before they could neutralize it.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
