MEP: At least five people were killed and eleven wounded after a car bomb exploded in the center of the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, on Tuesday.
The terrorist group Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
The bombing occurred five kilometers away from the shrines of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein, and his brother Hazrat Abbas, according to Iraqi sources.
Al Jazeera has placed the number of those killed at eight, citing its sources. At least 24 people have been affected by the attack, the Arabic channel said.
