5 Kids Dead, 10 Wounded in Ghazni Playing Ground Explosion

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least five children were killed and more than ten others were wounded after a heavy explosion rocked a playing ground in Ghazni province.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least five children were killed and more than ten others were wounded after a heavy explosion rocked a playing ground in Ghazni province.

According to Deputy Governor of Ghazni, Mohammad Ali Ahmadi the explosion took place on Monday in Qala-i-Qazi area.

Ahmadi said the explosives were placed in a bicycle which detonated as children were playing.

The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital while six of them were announced to be in serious condition.

Following the explosion local residents took to the streets and shouted slogans against those responsible.

They also took the dead bodies in front of the governor’s house and asked government to investigate and arrest the criminals.

No group or individuals has claimed responsibility behind the deadly attack so far.

However, security forces have launched an investigation regarding the incident.
