3,000 Human Shields, ISIS Inhumane Acts

ISISMEP: UN refugees Commissariat on Friday stated that they have received reports suggesting that Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group is holding 3,000 of village-dwellers in Iraq hostage.

The report says these Iraqi residents were taken hostage when they were fleeing from a village around Havijeh to Kirkuk in Northern Iraq, from which 12 have reportedly been killed by the terror group.

Reuters press reported Iraqi UN human rights watchdog saying that ISIS is using these hostages as human shields against the attacks from Iraq state forces.

Clashes between ISIS terrorist group and Iraqi state forces have left many homeless during the past two years while thousands of others were killed and wounded.
