KABUL: (Middle East Press) An anti-government protest demonstration has left at least three people dead in the Egyptian capital city Cairo.

A septuagenarian woman was killed in Helwan district of Cairo while clashes with security forces claimed the lives of two other protesters separately. Reports say.

Twenty people, mostly demonstrators, were killed on Sunday when protesters marking the fourth anniversary of Egypt’s 2011 revolution clashed with security forces during rallies against the government of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

Egyptian officials said more than 500 supporters of forbidden Muslim Brotherhood, which called Sunday protest rallies, were arrested.

Monday’s protest came after Mubarak’s sons, Alaa and Gamal, were freed from Torah Prison in a Cairo suburb.
