3 Dead, 11 Injured as Prisoner Transport Vehicle Crashed in Herat
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least three people were killed and eleven others were reportedly injured after a prisoners’ transport vehicle crashed in western Herat province, Herat Regional Hospital reported.
The vehicle was traveling from Guzerah District to Heart province when the incident took place in Pashtoon Pul on airport road around 11:30 am Saturday morning.
All the victims have been transferred to the Herat Regional Hospital and sources confirmed that those died in the incident included two prisoners and a policeman and those wounded include five soldiers and six prisoners.
The health condition of some of those wounded reported to be serious.
The motive behind the incident is not clear so far however, an investigation has been initiated for further details.
