3 Civilians Killed In Badghis Roadside Bomb Blast

250px-Badghis_in_Afghanistan.svgKABUL: (MEP) At least three civilians were killed after a roadside bomb exploded in northwestern Badghis province on Wednesday morning, said the officials.

The incident took place in Kokchail area of Abkamari district of the province.

Abdul Azim Karimi said, the target of the blast was apparently the security forces, but it claimed lives of civilians.

Kokchail area is located at a distance of 50 kilometers from the district center and where Taliban have wide presence, but there was no immediate claim of responsibility from the insurgency group.

This attack comes as a magnetic bomb exploded in diplomatic quarter of Kabul in a series of bombings in the capital over the past week.
