21 ISIL Terrorists Killed In Nangarhar Airstrike
MEP: As a result of the air search operation by Afghan security forces in the district of Pechyragam of from eastern Nangarhar province, 21 members of ISIL or Daesh terrorists were killed and eleven others were wounded.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday the operation was launched over the positions of the terror group in surrounding areas of the district within past 24 hours.
The statement adds that 10 Kalashnikovs, a PK machine gun and a rocket launcher were also obtained by security forces during the operation.
Meanwhile, the Ministry noted that four armed Taliban members were killed and six others wounded following a military operation in the district of Barmel of Paktika province.
However, no more details were given regarding the exact date of the operation.
