200 UN Staff Left Yemen Capital
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 200 United Nations (UN) staff and other deportees have been evacuated from the Yemeni capital on Saturday due to Saudis aggression against Yemenis in the city, aid workers said.
“More than 200 staff of the United Nations and foreign embassies and firms left through Sanaa airport on Saturday afternoon,” one aid worker told AFP.
However, the destination of the UN officials and staff has not been specified.
At least 180 civilians have been killed so far since the launch of the Saudi military aggression against Yemen on Thursday.
