20 Taliban Insurgents Killed In Kunduz Airstrikes

Kunduz-airstrikesMEP: At least twenty Taliban insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried out by Afghan Air Force (AAF) in Kunduz province, police said.

Gen. Mohammad Qasim Jangalbagh, Kunduz police chief confirmed the report saying “the airstrikes happened in Malaaqi area of Dasht-e-Archi district Monday morning.

He said in an interview with our correspondent that in addition to the air strikes killed 20 Taliban insurgents, two Ranger vehicles that the Taliban insurgents had taken from the security forces, have been completely destroyed.

“Two important members of Taliban insurgents were among the dead, but their identities have not been determined yet” he added.
