2 water dams and canals established by Afghan Agriculture Ministry in Samangan

KABUL: (MEP) – Two water dams and canals have been established in Feroz Nakhcher district of Samangan province.

The facilities have the capacity to irrigate 3000 acres of agricultural lands in Safar Ali village of the district.

“The irrigation facilities will play a significant role in boosting agricultural yield of the farmers in the district,” said Mohammad Aslam Dana, provincial head of agriculture department.

The projects are funded from the development budget of the Agriculture Ministry, wadsam reported.
