2 Police Officers Shot Dead in Canada

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A dead body of a man supposed of shooting two Canadian police officers, was found in the western Canadian province of Alberta, officials say.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A dead body of a man supposed of shooting two Canadian police officers, was found in the western Canadian province of Alberta, officials say.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said they found the suspect dead after trailing him to an unused home in a rural area in the city of St. Albert in the east of Alberta on Saturday.
The RCMP has not revealed the motive behind the dead. However, the police claimed, they had not spoken with the suspect or fired at him while trying to arrest him.
The two police officers who had been shot are extremely injured and were shifted to hospitals. One of them is in a serious life-threatening condition.
The incident took place earlier on Saturday in the city of Edmonton in Alberta when the police officers were carrying out a routine check on a suspicious stolen vehicle.
The cops came under fire as soon as they entered a casino hunting for the suspect.
The suspect has been tentatively identified by the police. However, the information still needs to be confirmed.
