18 Wounded as Blast Hits Traffic Police Car in Balkh
As a result of an IED bomb attack on a Ranger vehicle of traffic police in downtown Mazar-e-Sharif, 18 people including civilians were injured.
The incident happened today morning Tuesday, December 17, in the north of Rawza-e-Sharif in Mazar-e-Sharif city.
Balkh police spokesman Adel Shah Adel said the attack came when a traffic police car was hit by IED bomb.
He said 18 people were wounded, including five traffic police officers, one PD1 police officer and 12 civilians.
Adel added that the wounded were taken to hospital.
No one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
