KABUL: (Middle East Press) During the past 11 months 167 criminal records have been documented in which 216 criminals were arrested in Nangarhar province, said Fazal Ahmad Shirzad, Police Chief of Nangarhar.
He said all of the criminals were referred to judicial organs after their detainees.
The Afghan security forces were also confiscated 3118 kilograms of different types of drugs, 855 liters of wine and 2455 liters of chemicals used in heroin during the 167 criminal incidents, Shirzad said during a news conference.
39 different types of weapons, ammunition and 65 vehicles were also seized during the past 11 months, He added.
190 drug addicts were arrested from different parts of Nangarhar and referred to the related clinics for treatment.
