16 Abducted De-miners Released In Herat
KABUL: (MEP) local officials announced late Saturday evening that the 16 kidnapped de-miners in western Herat province have been released from the custody.
Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the de-miners on Friday from Ahmad Abad area of Kohsan district.
The de-miners were belonged to HALO TRUST organization, according to local sources.
Herat police officers have immediately launched probe into the kidnapping to find the de-miners and arrest the kidnappers, in which they have successfully managed to release the de-miners.
However, it is still unknown who was behind the kidnapping.
