15 Suspects Including Six Foreigners Detained in Nangarhar Operations

    • Arrest-51KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan security forces have conducted different separate military operations in eastern Nangarhar province in which at least 15 suspects including six foreigners have been arrested, an official said on Saturday.

    Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal said that six suspects were arrested from Nazyan district, five from Kot and two others from Haska Mina district.

    All suspects are kept in police custody and are under further investigation.

    Nazyan, Kot and Haska Mina are among the districts of Nangarhar which are witnessing severe insecurity from past few months.

    Both Taliban and Islamic State or Daesh militant groups are operating in these areas.
