14 Schoolgirls Poisoned in Bamyan

KABUL: (Middle East Press) 14 girls of a high school have been poisoned and admitted to hospital in central Bamyan province.

Khudayar Gudsi, police chief of Bamyan province said the incident took place in Panj Aab District of Deh Sayed High School Wednesday morning.

Medical staff at the district hospital said the motive behind the poisoning is still unknown however investigations are underway.

During this week this is at least third incident of its type in Panj Aab District.

More than a dozen schoolgirls were taken to hospital on Tuesday and 41 on Saturday.
