13 Dead, 42 Wounded In Baghdad’s Twin Bombings

MEP: At least 13 people were killed and 42 others wounded in two bomb attacks in Iraq’s capital Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.

The first incident occurred in a marketplace in the northern district of al-Shaab killed seven people and wounded 21.

The second blast happened after a car bomb in the southern neighborhood of al-Rasheed left six dead and another 21 wounded, Reuters reported citing medical sources.

Those injured in the attacks were immediately shifted to hospitals, with several of them in critical conditions.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. However, such attacks often blamed by Islamic State (IS or Daesh) terrorist group.
