10 Dead, 41 Injured In Syria’s Twin Explosions
MEP: At least 10 people were killed and over 40 others wounded in a double bomb attack in the eastern central Syrian province of Homs on Thursday morning, local media said.
State television reported the twin explosions took place in a square in Mukharram al-Fawqani area as a 48-hour ceasefire took hold on Thursday elsewhere, in the city of Aleppo, where residents were said to be returning to the streets as fighting subsided.
The injured were immediately shifted to hospitals where 28 of whom reported to be in critical condition.
Mukharram al-Fawqani area controlled by President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, is located between the cities of Homs and Palmyra, which was recaptured by the Syrian army from terrorists last month.
