11 Killed, Wounded as Back-to-Back Explosions Hit Mazar-e-Sharif
KABUL (MEP) – At least 2 people killed and 9 others injured as two back-to-back explosions hit PD9 of Mazar-e-Sharif city, center of Balkh province.
The blasts occurred today, Tuesday, January 14, near a private school in the 9th police district in Mazar-e-Sharif city.
Eyewitnesses also say two children were killed and eight others were wounded in the first blast and a soldier was injured in the second one.
Landmines caused the incident, sources said.
No one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
