1 Dead 8 Injured in Pakistan’s Karachi Bomb Blast

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A heavy bomb explosion has rocked a mosque of Dawoodi Bohra community in Pakistan’s Karachi during Friday prayers, leaving one dead and injured eight others.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A heavy bomb explosion has rocked a mosque of Dawoodi Bohra community in Pakistan’s Karachi during Friday prayers, leaving one dead and injured eight others.

Initial reports indicate that the bomb was planted in motorbike parked outside the mosque located in Aram Bagh area near Pakistan Chowk.

Rescue teams and area people rushed to the site and the injured were transferred to nearby hospital.

DIG South Abdul Khaliq Sheikh said a time device was used in the blast.

According to reports nine people were injured in the blast; one of them succumbed to his injuries.

No immediately responsibility claim has been made and an investigation has been launched into the deadly incident.
