KABUL: (MEP) – An explosion shocked western part of capital Kabul on Monday morning. The incident reportedly took place in Kote Sangi area of Kabul city.
Kabul police officials confirmed the report and said that the blast took place after a magnetic bomb planted in a vehicle went off, Khaama reported.
Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the interior ministry of Afghanistan confirmed the report and said only the driver of the vehicle was injured following the explosion.
Mr. Sediqi further added that the no one else has been killed or injured in the explosion, and no major damage was caused following the explosion.
In the meantime, officials in Kabul security department are saying that the driver of the vehicle was killed following the blast and the other civilians did not suffer any casualties.
