UAE Helicopter Crashes In Yemen Kills Two Crew
MEP: A United Arab Emirates helicopter from the Saudi-led coalition backing government forces in Yemen crashed on Monday killing the pilot and co-pilot onboard.
The UAE military said in a statement the crash happened “during a routine flight over international waters.” The statement did not elaborate, nor did it offer any details on the type of helicopter involved.
The helicopter gone down while taking part in the Saudi-led military operations against the crisis-hit country, according to the statement.
However, witnesses quoted by AFP, the crash took place in the southern port city of Aden.
