Spokesman for Balkh governor injured in armed attack
The spokesman for the governor of Balkh province was targeted by armed gunmen this morning, police said.
Abdul Razaq Qaderi, head of the Balkh Police Headquarters, told the Middle East Press, the spokesman for the governor of Balkh, Muneer Farhad, was targeted and wounded by gunmen in the area of police security in Mazar-e Sharif while leaving home.
According to Qaderi, armed assailants escaped from the area.
However, studies on this issue have begun.
The Balkh police command added that the health of Mr. Farhad is stable.
